Introducing Precursor: detecting agentic behavior with continuous client-side signals

Cloudflare introduces Precursor, a client-side, session-based verification system that detects agentic behavior. Precursor continuously collects behavioral signals from visitors interacting with an application, processing and incorporating them into Cloudflare's bot protection in real-time to distinguish human traffic from automated or agentic traffic. This extends the client-side detections offered by Cloudflare's Turnstile and is designed to capture human behavior over time, making it a powerful tool to detect fraud and abuse.
